Sunday Scribbles: Post Book-Release Crash

Happy Sunday, everyone!

I have to admit, one thing I wasn’t expecting after my book released on Tuesday, was how hard I would crash once the weekend hit. I suppose it was to be expected. With getting everything ready for the release last-minute, making sure everything went smoothly, and keeping an eye on things during the days following the release, some fatigue was bound to happen.

This weekend is a brief reprieve before I need to go all-in and focus on writing book #2. Deadlines are looming. Self-imposed, sure, but I fully intend to stick to the tight deadline I’ve set. That’s a conversation for a Wednesday Writing post though. For now, let’s focus more on the relaxing.

Some video games here, a bit of reading there. The husband and I got back into Monster Hunter Rise in the past two weeks, so we’ve been playing a lot of that. Plus, a fun little game called Mini Motorways; it’s surprisingly zen while also being a challenge. Those are primarily how I’ve been spending my time.

I’ll keep this short to follow that relaxing weekend mantra, but before I go:

What about you? What have you been doing to relax recently?

Enjoy the last remnants of the weekend before the work week hits!

PS: If you missed the book announcement, feel free to check out the book here on Amazon.
