Happy February! Can you believe we’ve already left January behind?
Personally, I can’t wait for Spring and the nicer weather it’ll bring. I don’t mind the cold here in the Midwest – but I absolutely wouldn’t say no to some mild Spring weather.
Weather aside, Spring will also bring other things with it, namely, book 3 of my book series The Survival Chronicles! I’m writing the book now with aims of an early/mid-Spring release date. I’ll reveal the exact date once we’re closer to Spring, but I’m eyeing late April/early May as a range.
In the meantime, here’s a small snippet from an early chapter in book 3:
I’d taken to visualizing the barrier between me and [REDACTED] in my quiet moments of solo-practice and began trying different things. Ripping through a paper wall with bare hands. Smashing through brick with a hammer. Slicing a knife through flesh. None of it worked. No matter how solid my visualization, how closely I believed it should work, none of them brought me closer.
Hell, I had even asked nicely. Said please and everything.
Still nothing. Damn it.
